Applying for a Reception Class Place in Camden
All Camden primary schools have good or outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
Your child will be due to start primary school in September 2026 if they were born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022.
The deadline to apply for a reception class place for the 2026-2027 school year is 15th January 2026. If you miss this date, your child is unlikely to receive an offer until after the first round of offers in April.

Primary pupils in Camden consistently perform above the national average in test results for 11 year-olds. The 2024 provisional results show that 72% of Camden pupils achieved expectations in the combined measure for reading, writing and maths - well above the national (61%) and London (67%) averages.
